Viva vs. Sparkle Paper Towels: See the Difference

I was given the opportunity to sample Viva Paper Towels as a member of Crowdtap.  I received 4 rolls of paper towels absolutely FREE.

I normally buy Sparkle paper towels because they are usually cheaper than any of the other brands.  Below is a photo of my Sparkle paper towels (on the top) and a photo of the Viva paper towels (on the bottom).

As you can see, Sparkle's paper towel is a little bigger than Viva's paper towel.  But, what I liked most about the Viva paper towel that Sparkle's towels don't have, are the raised "ridges."

Believe it or not, this made a HUGE difference in the ability of the paper towels to soak up waste.  I decided to try the ultimate test on these paper towels:  BBQ Ribs!  

What I found was most astonishing.  As you can see from the photo below, when I wiped my hands on the Sparkle paper towel, the absorbency was not very good.  The color of the barbeque is more prominent (darker, if you will) than the Viva paper towel.

I really liked the absorbency of Viva better than Sparkle and I'm making the switch!  Thank you Crowdtap and Viva for offering these samples so I can see the difference!
